Innovative materials: the glass fiber according to Ceam

The GLASS FIBRES are used for the production of composite advanced materials in which different components are merged to produce surprising physical and mechanical characteristics.

Common experience teaches that glass is a fragile material: if it is spun at a less than a tenth of a millimetre diameters it loses its weakness to become a highly mechanical strong material with excellent qualities of lightness, power and resistance. Consequently it is used in the aircraft industry, for competition vehicles, for the construction of wind turbines besides motor vehicles, boats, trans pallets and design objects. For its resistance to corrosion in basic environments such as seawater the fiberglass is used to produce pipes, tanks, silos.

Inspired by these experiences, Ceam create the lightest 3D hinges, maintaining the durability and reliability that have always characterized its product range.
